This sucks

I would love to adopt a dog. But I don’t think it is in our cards. The doggy would have to stay in a crate while we were at work all day and we were already turned down by one animal rescue group for that very reason and because the dog would not be able to stay in the back yard all day either due to their excessive curiosity.
Why am I destined to a no pet life? It is killing me. No cats because of our allergies unless we want to shell out $10,000 for one. This sucks.
I miss furbabies.

Maybe you shouldn't look at a rescue group. Yes, I know the idea is great and all- but I think it is better to start from scratch with dogs- you sometimes just never know. As you know, we have 5 dogs- most are in our kennels all day. Duma, our oldest, pretty much has run of the house- she is the only one we trust. You need to look for a low key dog that would be trust worthy in the house. Somewhere, there should be the furbaby for you!!

lots of people crate train their dogs and they're perfectly happy. Yeah, maybe rescue isn't the way to go... or just not that particular group.
