I love dark places. Far away from sunlight so it does not harm me. Ahhh my life without windows..

In my dank cubicle I sit
Marinating and still
Roots unfurl from me
Planting at will
I do not leave my grove
I fear the sunlight’s rays
That pour in from the windows
Along the hallways.
My desk is my throne
In the darkest corner of the office
For growing strong
Evolving as a fungus
