Office Morons

My annoying cubicle neighbor has managed to anger me already today. First she asks about the damage to my house and how things are going and then when we are discussing it, she says "you should have moved inside the loop over the summer when you had the chance!" Nice. My only response was to point out how she still is without power in her fabulous West University area and we had power back on Monday evening. HA! Whatev...I love my house and I love our area and our view from our back yard. She is evil. She is the type that everything that she has is the best ever and she just has this way of bragging every time she opens her mouth. I prefer not to even talk to her. So annoying.
Hooray for Friday! I suppose we will help my parents pick up their destroyed bay house in Anahuac over the weekend. I propose that the bay house be raized and they just sell the land or re-build. From the sounds of it, the bay house is in no condition to be repaired.
We bought a dehumidifier for the house and have been running it faithfully to suck out as much moisture from the floors and walls as we can so as to lessen the molding effects. Hopefully we do not have to have much of the walls and ceilings ripped out but if we do, so be it. The dehumidifier is pretty neat! We are always amazed at the amount of water that is collected. So cool! Thankfully, none of our personal belongings were damaged...especially my beloved buddha painting...

Watch out for the dreaded black mold- you don't want that coming into your house! Good luck with the drying out :)
