Office Potluck Mania

We are having a potluck lunch today in my department. So the chaos begins. There are about four crock pots of various sizes plugged in and the microwave going all at once in the breakroom, at least for a second. Too much was plugged in and now half of the outlets do not work because the demand was too high for the breakers to handle. HA! Should have seen that one coming. Which is why I chose to bring a veggie tray and some dip because I do not want to have to deal with heating up my dish as I learned that lesson a few years ago. I have never really been a big fan of office potlucks but I guess that is just me being a grump and not wanting to cook.

So let's talk about how now the microwave has been moved out into a hallway on a cart so that people can use it. FIRE HAZARD! Someone brought brisket but no bar-b-que sauce. So the chick who originally organized this (last Friday) is freaking out and trying to make someone go to the cafeteria to get some sauce but no one wants to go get it. So silly...

Also, let's talk about how small the breakroom is, so everyone is going to cram in there and expect to all sit around the table and everyone will freak when you try to leave the chaotic room to get some space...it should be highly entertaining!
