Just Keep Swimming
It would be fun if I could get something done today without having to jump through hoops to do so. For every task that I need to complete, I have to call and harass someone else to do their part of it before I can mark it off my list. Seriously, and I just don't have it in me to have to take each and every one of these idiots by the hand and lead them to where they need to go to get it done. It is so infuriating! So, here we are stuck in a messy rut. Ugh...smile and go on about your business in blissful ignorance. That will be my mantra today. Just Keep Swimming...
Maybe I will send out an email to all of these peeps that I am waiting on and just say "I am waiting for each of you to complete your part of a task that is sitting on my desk waiting for me to complete it. Please do your part so that I can be done with it. If you don't know what your part is, then do everyone a favor and go flush yourself down the toilet."
Oh and let me explain how we have our little committees and on the committees we have persons that are not employees here. So then we have to distribute the protocol information to them for review, but one person does not have a large enough inbox for the massive emails I send out, so I had to develop a sharepoint site for meeting materials distribution. But then, one person can't get the proper ONE PAGE of paper work done and submitted to be in order to get him set up on the sharepoint site so I still have to email all of the stuff to him; one person is having password issues so I have to email it all to him as well; and yet another person needs their account reset and I can't reset it because I am not a Director (note, the account has to be reset every 90 days - so every 90 days I have to jump through this hoop again). I could go on all day long...so many loose ends and they all drive me batty!!! You may say "well it's your job isn't it?" Yes, it is, but geez O PETE, I have never encountered so many crazy hoops in my life. I like it when it is cut and dry and it is all done the same way, not a special circumstance for each person. It is ridiculous.
NO THANK YOU.
Today is one of the days that I fantasize about running screaming out of the building and never coming back. I need my Friday now.
10 more months, give or take, until I could possibly be rid of this pain. Please Lord, let me get into the Ultrasonography program. It may be my only hope...
